Pyros is the island of dragons. This is also where Bloom had to go and train when she wanted to get stronger
Overview
It is a wild realm where the main predators are great dragons. It is where she meets her inner dragon, Buddy. The lands flora and fauna consists of wild rain forests, volcanoes, and dragons. Only one person is known to live there and that is a woman named Maia, who helped Bloom to get stronger.
Fauna
Most of the fauna of Pyros seems to be made up of dragons, and there are medium, bull-sized herbivorous dragons that walk on all fours, as well as large, winged or wingless, carnivorous and fire-breathing dragons.
Series
Season 3
Bloom comes here to train when she needed to get stronger to fight Valtor. She also meets Buddy, her inner dragon and Maia, a woman who helped Bloom and eventually, she achieved the Enchantix level.
Season 7
It appears again in “The Magic Stones” when Stella proposes to Bloom to use her Dragon Flame to restore the volcano, Bloom remembers the lessons that Maia had given during her stay there. One of which pertains to what Stella suggested and it is in fact, not possible due to their very different sources. As such, Bloom’s power cannot restore it, which she relays to Stella.
Trivia
- Pyros comes from the Greek word pyrós (πυρός), which means fire.
- Pyros is mentioned in Season 5 Episode 22 by Stella when she refers to "The Entire Limited Edition Pyros Designer Line". Now it is unknown if the designer line is inspired by Pyros, or the designer that has designed those clothes actually comes from Pyros.
- It is very unlikely for Pyros to have cities or even buildings, because the whole realms habitats are mostly swamps and forests, and the only inhabitants known are dragons and Maia, but there might be a civilization at the other part of the island. This could explain the Pyros designer line.
