The Winx Club Comic Series is a comic book series based on Winx Club and its spin-off series, World of Winx. It is published in Winx Club Magazine and Il Giornalino Magazine issues.

It is directly linked to the Pixie Comic Series and loosely linked to the PopPixie Comic Series.

Overview

As of May 2025, over two hundred and thirty issues have been produced, including two issues focusing on the movies and three Halloween issues contained within their own miniseries. The first twelve are based directly on episodes of the first season, while the rest focus on other adventures. Another seventeen issues was later produced to celebrate the show's twentieth anniversary.

Throughout 2017 until 2018, over 21 issues have been produced based on the spin-off series, World of Winx.

Starting from July to September 2025, two issues have been released to promote and transition the comics for the Winx reboot series.

As of October 2025, two issues based on the reboot has been released and are based directly on episodes of the first season with some minor changes.

In 2026, the magazines officially goes from a monthly release to a bi-monthly release.

VIZ Media Volumes

In 2012, to coincide with Nickelodeon producing new seasons of the series, VIZ Media began publishing the Winx Club comics. The comics were re-translated and placed in volumes consisting of two comics each. The comics were also slightly re-ordered by placing A Friend for Bloom as the first story in the series.

Trivia

• The Season 8 comics is the first time since the magazine releases where they released reissued comics of past comics of the same season.
• For both 2023^[1] and 2024^[2], Tridimensional S.r.l. has skipped the December issue of the comics.
• In 2025, Tridimensional S.r.l. has skipped the June and August issue of the comics.
  • However, the July and September issue also does not feature any form of comic story in its magazine.
    • This is due to the fact that Rainbow is preparing to transition the comics into the new reboot series.
